GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE REFUGE DU CHARDONNET: As of 1 October 2020
Located in the middle of Vallon du Chardonnet, in Haute-Clarée (Névache), our refuge offers accommodation for up to 39 people, including six 4-person dormitories, one 6-person dormitory and two 5-person dormitories. Free hot showers are available.
Beds are equipped with duvets for your comfort, but please bring a small fitted sheet, toiletries and a headlamp.
You can recharge your mobile phone when the generator is in use (primarily in the evening when the washing up is done).
Waste management is difficult, so we ask everyone to take responsibility for their own rubbish and to take it back down the valley with them.
For your peace of mind, reservations are obligatory.
Half Board includes overnight accommodation, an evening meal, breakfast and tourist tax.
The evening meal is served at 7 pm in the communal dining area.
In the morning, there is a self-service breakfast available from 7 am to 8.30 am.

For lunch, you can order a picnic or, if you prefer, there is a lunch service at the refuge.
Remember to order your picnics when you make your reservation or before 4 pm for the following day. Payment for picnics must be made at the time of placing your order.
Wherever possible, we endeavour to cater for all your dietary requirements (special diets, birthday cakes, etc. ....). However, any changes to the menu may be subject to a supplementary charge. We regret that we cannot provide gluten-free bread.
For all reservations (by phone or on-line) we require a deposit of 10 euros per Half-Board booking per person, regardless of the type of accommodation (adult, child, dormitory or room, group etc.). Even a small child (under 4 years) counts as a person.

The balance of your stay must be paid directly to the refuge in cash or by cheque (French cheques only accepted). Please note: Credit/debit card payments are not accepted.
Prices for bookings are those in force on the day that the booking was made, for the given period. They are stated in euros and include VAT.

We do not accept holiday vouchers.

Reservations cannot be made by e-mail or by post.
Deposits are non-refundable.

A refund will only be granted in exceptional and duly justified circumstances. A processing fee of one euro per person per day will be deducted.
Please plan to arrive at the refuge before 7 pm, after which time the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled and may be re-assigned. If you are delayed, please phone the refuge.
