Nuit des refuges 2022

On 25 June 2022 it is the 21st edition of the Nuit des refuges in the Hautes-Alpes, on the theme

"refuges at the heart of sustainable development"

Every year, on the last Saturday in June, the refuges of the Hautes-Alpes open the doors of their world, with music, theatre, storytelling... This popular celebration is an invitation to discover the world of the mountains in summer and to live an unforgettable experience: Spending a night in a refuge.

17h - Tour of the refuge facilities, hydraulic turbine, dry toilet, and discussion with the refuge team

19h - Giant communard - Cauldron soup followed by a mountain meal

18 H Presentation of the Refuge's energy, hydroelectric plant, by Henri BROSSE, of the refuge team

"Talk - Debate" on how dry toilets work, led by Loïc Perrier, engineer at Ecosphère Technologie.

In the afternoon, tour of the refuge facilities and discussion with the refuge team

19h: Tasting meal, complimentary Apéritif.

REFUGE RICOU

Departure around 16h to carry food on Mérens horses from the hamlet of Fontcouverte up to the refuge, followed by an apéritif
