Enjoying an exceptional mountain location, Gîte des Tavernes provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for your stay and is open all year round, hosted by Sylvain. Several options are available depending on the season: - gîte d'étape in summer for your hikes in the heart of the Alps (GR5, Tour du Thabor and more), mountain biking or trail-running excursions; - gîte de séjours in winter for your holidays in the snow or for ski touring; - ideal for hosting groups for sports activities or family gatherings in low season. The Gîte has a bar and restaurant serving traditional, hearty, home-cooked, local cuisine!

Accessible all year round by car from Modane via Valfréjus (signposted from the centre of Valfréjus resort). Access on foot from Modane or Fourneaux (GR5). 1hr 30 to 2hrs’ walk.
