1 hr 30 from the Pont de l’Alpe. By car, park in the Pont de l’Alpe car park and follow the GR 50 towards the Alpe du Lauzet. Carry on along the GR, following the Rif stream and leaving the Aiguillette du Lauzet via ferrata on your right. Below the rock barrier, cross the stream and follow the summer path up to the refuge. In winter, it is better to stay on the left bank of the stream and reach the refuge from the north. All the way up, make the most of an educational trail to learn about the particular features of the valley. Fauna, flora, protected species and pastoralism… The Clot des Vaches will hold no more secrets for you! You are moving through an unsecured, snow-covered mountain area. In winter, bring your own personal safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe at a minimum)
