Refuge des Drayères, the ideal base camp (altitude: 2180m), stands at the junction of three major routes: to the south the Clarée valley, to the north-west the Rochilles (where the Guisane valley, via the col de la Ponsonnière, and the Valloire and Valmeinier valleys converge) and to the east the path coming from the Thabor and the Vallée Étroite. This refuge is a must for hikers on the Tour des Cerces & the Tour du Thabor. Group rate: a group is defined as at least 8 paying guests for a minimum of one night, with a single collective payment We strongly recommend booking for the whole group at once. The refuge team will seat you at the same table and in the same dormitory or dormitories.

> €10 deposit payable when booking online, refundable up to 48 hours before arrival. > Payment at the refuge by cheque or cash; no card payments > ANCV holiday vouchers (paper version) are accepted for payment of the overnight stay only: €21 adult public rate or €10.5 adult FFCAM rate > A sleeping bag liner is compulsory (none available to hire on site) > Dogs are accepted provided they can sleep in the refuge entrance without barking while you are away > 2 paying hot showers > No half board for people bivouacking: check the municipal by-law currently in force in our area
