The team will be delighted to welcome you to the heart of the Vallée de la Neuvache (Valmeinier municipality) in the classified site of Mont Thabor, between alpine pastures and mineral slopes. This private hut offers 35 beds in 6 dormitories of 4 to 8 beds, equipped with washbasins for a quick wash, 4 toilets (including 1 accessible toilet), the hut overlooks the heart of the valley and enjoys a preserved natural environment. It is an ideal stopover or base for nature lovers, hikers, trail runners, snowshoers, and skiers. The cuisine is vegetarian. For the hut, we would like to offer you an experience that is more in line with our ideas and current challenges. New products will be discovered. The absence of some will surely be felt at first (coffee, chocolate, sodas). You will find more information on our website. You will mainly find French products, and a few from elsewhere in small quantities. Your travels will also be at the heart of this change! We are setting up an eco-mobility half board, save 4% on the half board by showing us a valid train or bus ticket for your journey to get to us. Come to Terre Rouge to spend a pleasant time, with family or friends!

Getting to the refuge
Neuvache Valley, at La Sausse (2182m) in the municipality of Valmeinier 73450 GPS: 45.130696, 6.512382 WINTER ACCESS: From the Grange Bernard parking lot. Duration: 2h30 — Starting altitude: 1690 m — Arrival altitude: 2182 m — Elevation gain: 492 m From the parking lot, follow the track to La Chenalette. Then follow the valley bottom to the Croix de la Portète. Cross the Neuvache bridge and head towards Les Cornions, along the birch forest. From there, aim for the Léchet chalet, go around it on the left, then climb up to Notre-Dame des Neiges. You will then only have to make a small traverse to the hut. Check the conditions by referring to the bera, the winter route is not without risks.

ALL bookings for half board will be made on our WEBSITE. NO charging point. Remember to charge your devices before coming up, or be self-sufficient.
